2020 presidential election

Well, I think we have found a great candidate for Biden's running mate.

I have always felt than we should judge people by how the comport themselves under difficult situations. That that is the best way to see if someone is up to such a stressful and difficult situation. And i have seen someone stand out during this current situation.

Her name is Keisha Lance Bottoms mayor atlanta. I don't know too much about her, but i do like what i have seen so far.

Are there any scandals in her history that would arm the right?

We are already in June so we should get word pretty soon on who the VP running-mate is going to be.

APR. 29, 2020, AT 1:49 PM

Why Biden Probably Won’t Announce His Running Mate For Months

https://fivethirtyeight.c...or-months/

With the presidential primary essentially settled, talk has already turned to who will be former Vice President Joe Biden’s running mate. But if history is any guide, we won’t know the answer for a few months.

In the modern era of presidential nominations, which began when a number of primary reforms were impl...ed in 1972, the presumptive presidential nominee has never announced his or her vice presidential pick before July 6. And we could be waiting much longer than that: A few running mates haven’t been announced until late August.

We already have a twat as president, might as well get someone to represent the nation who is not a complete moron. And having a female as a VP would go along way in fully represning ALL the people of the US. Not just racist ignorant twats.

Excuse you, but if you're still voting for Republicians OR Democrats, you're the one that is wasting your votes, not me! Both major parties have been brought out by the corporate establishment a long time ago. They don't give a damn about you, myself, or any other regular U.S. American citizen. They only care about the money given to them by corporate donors.

And for future reference, don't waste your time trying to "voter shame" me. It doesn't work on freethinkers. no no no! wink

Off-hand, I only know about Dario Hunter. But I'm hoping Jesse Ventura will FINALLY run, just like I wish he should have in 2016. But we'll see.

How do you know that for sure if you never gave an independent or a 3rd party candidate your vote? Then again, the corporate news media needs to let ALL candidates take part of all debates and stop using the so-called "must have 10% of general election votes OR else" [?!?] that President Clinton & Sen. Bob Dole convince the corporate news media to use since 1996.

Don't blame the independent voters for Bush & Trump. Blame the 2 major parties for trying so hard to screw every voters out of options.

Welcome back Tony, but until we get a 3rd party candidate who is very strong and can attract the interests of voters, then most will vote Repub or Democrat.

Of course at this point everyone should rally around Biden, and in times like this we need a voice that can speak for us, but with Biden, I still worry about what comes out of his mouth.

.

Welcome back

.

I understand what you are saying and, generally I support anyone who equally rejects both the major parties voting for a 3rd party. And you have a long history of making this stand.

.

It is, however a long play: One day there may be sufficient ground swell of people just about as equally disgusted with both parties or the structures that enforce political duopoly. It can work - the UK has had periods of three major parties where the Government can come from any of the three. In Australia in 1950 arond 96% of people voted for just the two majors - today nearly a third vote for someone else - With our structure those someone else's can get elected and hold the balance of power.

.

But for the Presidency, in the US there is only one vote, no preferential system, no run off election and in 2020, a person who the world needs removed from office. To use an Australian term - you currently need anyone else, even a "drover's dog".

She is strong and confident and under a lot of pressure in these difficult times. That's always been a good metric for me. How people deal under pressure is one of the most important factors. We have seen a lot of sleek politicians crack like an egg under the slightest pressure.

She was also a lawyer and a judge.

I like her too.
